these young adults how to cope and live independently. Here our young people learn basic apartment care as well as social and community living skills, and are provided job guidance and placement assistance - all in a warm, supportive, mainstreamed setting with experienced staff.
The age range at Independence Center is 18 - 32 years and includes both men and women. Our program meets the needs of the "low average" and average group of young people with learning disabilities who have completed high school and need training for successful independent living.
